An 18-Year-Old Stinger® That Hadn't Been Used in Ten Years is Now Running Like New!
In August my brother-in-law passed away. He owned three Stinger® flashlights. One was in its original box. The receipt showed he purchased it in 1997. It had apparently been sitting uncharged for at least ten years.
I read the pamphlet that was in the box and it said the Stinger® could sit in a box for ten years and after a four hour charge, it would run for a full hour. So I gave it a try.
I plugged it in, charged it for four hours, and, sure enough, the light came on. I set the stopwatch on my phone to see how long the light would last; and it went strong for one hour and 22 minutes. Amazing!
Hopefully I will be using this light 18-year-old light for another twenty years. Thanks for making a great product that I know my brother-in-law loved. It now has a new faithful home.
