I recently cracked the lens on my Streamlight® TLR1-HL® during a range of exercises. I don't know when it broke; the light continued to function throughout the exercise. While cleaning the pistol afterward, I noticed the cracked lens. I contacted Streamlight and asked if they could send me a replacement lens and thus avoid sending the entire light in for service. They quickly mailed me a new lens and gasket. On closer inspection, I doubted my ability to mount the new lens as securely as the original lens and as a result, lose the watertight capability. I contacted Streamlight again through a service order, explained my concern, and mailed the entire light back to them. Streamlight acknowledged receipt by email, repaired the light, and returned it with 48 hours. I am stunned by this level of service and can tell you that Streamlight has earned all of my business. Over time, I have purchased seven of their TLR® series weapon lights. All have served me well and the one instance of breakage reported above was repaired in record time without charge.
