About 2 months ago, I lost my Strion® LED while on duty. I am a K9 handler and my furry partner likes to jump up on me and knocked it out of my holster. I searched for about an hour in the 12+ inches of snow in subzero temps with no luck. Yesterday, I was checking the area again now that the snow has melted. The area was flooded in about 6 inches of water. Just when I was about to give up, there it was.
There was a little hazing on the body and water in the lens. I took it apart and shook out as much water as I could. When I got home, I finished cleaning up the contacts, put it back together and put it in the charger. I checked it an hour later and GOOD AS NEW!
I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with your product. For it to sit for over 2 months in snow, water and subzero temperatures, then work as if it was new is simply amazing. Thank you for making such an awesome product for all of us to use in the performance of our duties.
