Streamlight® Wedge® SL Wins 2026 PTEN Innovation Award

Ultra-Thin Rechargeable Inspection Light Recognized in Safety and Personal Gear Category

Eagleville, PA, October 6, 2026 – Streamlight®, Inc., a leading provider of high-performance lighting tools, announced that its Wedge® SL, an everyday carry inspection light, has been named a 2026 PTEN Innovation Award winner in the Safety and Personal Gear category.

Presented by Professional Tool & Equipment News (PTEN), the annual Innovation Awards recognize outstanding new products for the automotive industry. The Wedge® SL was selected by a panel of industry judges and will be honored along with other 2026 winners during the PTEN Innovation Awards ceremony at AAPEX in Las Vegas on November 3rd.

Designed for clean pocket carry and one-handed operation, the ultra-thin Wedge® SL is well suited for automotive inspections, diagnostics and repairs in tight or low-light spaces.

The Wedge® SL’s rechargeable lithium polymer battery charges via USB-C, and its TEN-TAP® programmable tail switch provides momentary and constant-on operation, along with Streamlight’s THRO® mode for maximum brightness. The light is IPX4-rated for water resistance and tested for 1-meter impact resistance.
