There’s No Better Feeling Than Knowing My Sidewinder Compact® II Will Work Every Time I Push the Button
I am an Aviation Structural Mechanic in the U.S. Navy, deployed overseas on a frigate. I work on helicopters twelve hours a day for six months straight.
Before I left, I purchased your Sidewinder Compact® II. I knew I needed a good flashlight because I work nights, and I needed something that was going to be bright and had a red light for our night vision needs. The option of using different size batteries is amazing, because on board we might not have a certain kind, so being able to use a different size is great.
I've been using this flashlight for the past four months, and it's the best flashlight I have ever used. It has fallen from heights of twenty feet multiple times. It has been kicked around a hard, anti-skid flight deck. It’s been through multiple rain storms, and multiple salt water splashes from waves. There’s no better feeling than knowing when I push the button to turn on the light it will always come on, and I can get to work.
A lot of guys out here have had to replace many of their cheap headband headlights already, which is not easy. Since we're on a ship, they have to wait weeks till they can get a new one sent in. I haven't had that problem and I don't think I ever will.
Nowadays, it's hard to find a good quality product like yours. I love knowing my flashlight is made in the USA, and I think that's a lot of the reason why it works so great. I am now a customer for life.
