I've been carrying this little light for the past six months, and I'm impressed. The battery life estimate seems a bit shorter than what I've gotten out of it. Programmed to High/Off, I've used it daily, usually 5-10 minutes at a time, all winter long, and left it out in my vehicle every night. I finally checked the battery today, and it's still over 50%. It's been dropped over ten feet onto concrete, fell into the mud, water, even a bucket of fresh concrete, and still runs just fine. I'd highly recommend them to anyone. And having glanced through Streamlight's new products page today, the only improvement Streamlight can make would be to offer the 18650-powered Protac® 2L-X in a 90-degree configuration.
