Eagleville, PA — November 12, 2024 — The Streamlight® Stinger® Color-Rite®, a rechargeable LED flashlight that features high CRI light with Streamlight’s Color-Rite Technology® for true color recognition was named a PTEN Magazine 2024 Innovation Award winner in the Safety and Personal Gear category during the magazine’s recent awards ceremony at AAPEX (Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo) in Las Vegas.

The flashlight uses a High Color Rendering Index (90 CRI) LED for enhanced visualization under low-light conditions, allowing users to see the color spectrum as they would in natural light. Its softer, warmer beam can help automotive technicians spot subtle details in color matching and paint repairs and differentiate colored electrical wires in hard-to-see areas under a vehicle hood or chassis.

Established in 1999, the Innovation Awards recognize the most innovative automotive tools and equipment and honor those companies that help technicians excel at their jobs. This year, more than 100 products were submitted for consideration across 25 categories and were rated by judges on their ability to make diagnoses and repairs easier and more efficient, as well as increase shop productivity.
