Why do I carry a BearTrap® 360 with me all the time when traveling in our RV? Most of all, because of the number of times that I wish I would have had a portable super bright spotlight or flood light with me for the following reasons.

When traveling in an RV, the BearTrap 360 by Streamlight® is the ultimate portable lighting product. At the end of the day, it is all about safety and security. Not only for me, but for everyone traveling with me. Not only is it a safety issue while traveling on the road in case of a flat tire or you break down, but when you are parking for the night. If you park at a roadside rest stop, truck stop, campground or wherever your destination is, we often arrive after dark and most of these places are not well lit. For safety reasons we like the BearTrap 360 because it’s easy to carry and you can mount or attach it to just about anything, while also being able to rotate it 360°. It’s ideal to walk around the RV to inspect tires, fluid levels or batteries when you’re parked or if you’re looking for something in one of the storage compartments.

You can also use it around the campsite to light up a large area with the 2,000 lumens of flood. You can clamp it to a tree branch or an awning arm so you can relax in a well-lit area late into the evening with three options of lighting from 325 to 2,000 lumens. It’s rechargeable so it doesn’t need to be plugged in, but you can also plug it in to charge it at the same time while it’s on all evening. You can also unplug it when you need to take the dog for a late-night potty break. For our family it’s all about safety. Not only so we can see where we are going but so others can see us if we are walking along the side of the campground road, roadside rest or truck stop parking area.

Not only am I in the habit of always carrying some type of lighting, but I am surprised how many others carry flashlights, camping lights or even work lights on a regular basis.
