HAZ-LO®

Your safety is important to us.

There are several types of locations in which it can be extremely dangerous to use any light that has not been specifically designed — and approved — for that kind of location. These are areas where fire or explosion hazards may exist due to the presence of flammable gases, liquids, vapors, dusts, or ignitable fibers or flyings. If you will be using a flashlight in any potentially hazardous location, it is critical that your flashlight be safety-rated for that specific kind of environment. The information in this section will help you choose a lighting tool that’s both safe and effective for your needs. You’ll see that Streamlight makes a variety of lights that are safe to use in the environment in which you will be working.

HAZ-LO® SERIES


2AA ProPolymer® Xenon
  • Powered by 2 "AA" alkaline batteries
  • Xenon gas-filled bi-pin bulb, many times brighter than conventional flashlights
  • Up to 4,000 Candela (peak beam intensity), 10 lumens (typical)

    3AA HAZ-LO® LED Headlamp
    • C4® LED technology, impervious to shock with a 50,000 hour lifetime.
    • 120 lumens measured system output, 6,800 candela peak beam intensity, and 165 meter beam distance, runs 11 hours
    • Push-button on/off switch easy to use even when wearing heavy gloves

      3AA ProPolymer® HAZ-LO®
      • High-performance, anti-static, thermoplastic material resistant to chemicals and solvents
      • "Captured locking" set screw will not back out -prevents FOD (Foreign Object Debris)
      • Safety measure: Set screw helps to avoid batteries being changed out, or the housing inadvertently being opened in a hazardous environment
