How This LiteBox® Became a Survivor.

LiteBox® At 2:43 am on February 16, 2008 an alarm for a structure fire came in.  When we arrived on scene, the 2nd and 3rd floors of the structure were fully involved.  The engine 9 crew advanced handlines to the 2nd and 3rd floor. A handlight was set at the top of the stairway leading to the 2nd floor. Some time later the structure was classified as unsafe and all interior crews were removed and a defensive effort was put in place.  The next day after the investigators were through the structure we returned to retrieve some of our equipment.  This light was found under debris right were it was left and still working.
