Streamlight®, Inc. is adding 75,000 square feet in space to its Eagleville, PA headquarters facility in response to growing demand for its products. The building addition project began in October and is expected to be completed in May 2008, bringing the company's total plant size to 165,000 square feet.

The new addition will add 55,000 square feet to the company's existing 70,000 square-foot manufacturing space, a 75 percent increase. At the same time, the company is doubling the size of its headquarters office and engineering facility with an additional 20,000 square-feet of office space.

"This dynamic growth has led to the need for more space to accommodate our administrative, research and development and manufacturing needs, and to house the additional employees we have hired in recent years to keep pace with this growth."

Streamlight built its existing facility in 2001, consolidating two former locations in into one headquarters and manufacturing operation which housed 100 employees. The company today has some 200+ employees.
