Streamlight is once again is helping to honor fallen firefighters and their survivors through its "Bronze Helmet"
sponsorship of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF). The
non-profit organization celebrates the lives of firefighters who have died
in the line of duty, and assists their families and co-workers.
Streamlight's contribution will be used to fund various National Fallen
Firefighters initiatives, including the organization's annual memorial
tribute to fallen heroes, scholarships awarded to spouses and children of
fallen firefighters, and counseling programs for agencies who have lost
colleagues in the line of duty.
"To be a firefighter is to commit to saving the lives of victims while
putting one's own life at risk," said Streamlight President and CEO Brad
Penney. "Streamlight is deeply honored to help the National Fallen
Firefighters Foundation commemorate the lives of the brave men and women who
made the ultimate sacrifice so that others might live."
Congress created the NFFF to lead a nationwide effort to honor America's
fallen firefighters. Since 1992, the non-profit Foundation has developed
and expanded programs that fulfill that mandate. For more information about
the organization, visit www.firehero.org or call 301-447-1365.
