Class I, Div. 1 Rated For Use In Hazardous Environments

If you work in potentially hazardous environments such as petrochemical plants, or areas where flammable liquids or gasoline is stored, you know that it’s critical to use only those lights that have been tested and approved for use in your specific environment. Any light that is not approved could become an ignition source.
Finding lights with the features you need, along with a Class I, Division 1 safety-rating, is no longer a problem. Streamlight makes a wide variety of these lights; and the newest additions to our Class I, Div. 1 HAZ-LO safety-rated lights are the Knucklehead HAZ-LO Spot and the Knucklehead HAZ-LO Flood.
These new Knuckleheads have all the same features as the non-HAZ-LO versions, but are safe for use in hazardous environments. Both HAZ-LO models are versatile work lights with full 360º rotating heads and 210º of articulation, so you can aim light wherever it’s needed. Both have powerful magnets to safetyattach the light to any metal surface for hands-free lighting. Available with either a spring-loaded clip (making it easy to attach to turn-out gear) or an integrated, stowable hook for easy hanging.
As the names suggest, the Spot version has a bright, far-reaching beam that helps locate hazards or victims at a distance; the Flood version has a widespread beam that floods an entire work area with light.
