LONGSTANDING TRADITION OF "GIVING BACK" CONTINUES
Streamlight® has always believed that what's important to our customers, partners, and employees is important to the company. So it's been a long-held practice to provide support to the causes and organizations that play an important roll in the communities we serve. C.O.P.S.We confirmed our continued support for Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) with our sponsorship for the 13th consecutive year during the 2012 National Police Week, held May 12-16, in Washington, D.C. This annual event honors fallen officers and their families. This year, Streamlight served as a major sponsor of the organization's annual luncheon for survivors, as well as a reception for participants completing Law Enforcement United's "Road to Hope" memorial bicycle ride to honor fallen law enforcement heroes and support their survivors. In addition to our sponsorship support, the company also donated proceeds from recent sales of our Blue Nano Light® to C.O.P.S. The tiny aluminum keychain light boasts a super bright white LED and a double-sided FOB that features the C.O.P.S. logo on one side and the Streamlight logo on the other side. Streamlight earmarks $1.00 from the sale of each light to C.O.P.S. Streamlight's commitment to C.O.P.S. also extends to the organization's programs that take place throughout the year. Among these programs are C.O.P.S. Kids Camp and C.O.P.S. Outward Bound, as well as hands-on retreats for siblings, surviving spouses, parents, and other family members. Streamlight is the lead sponsor of the Affected Co-Workers Retreat. Streamlight also is the lead sponsor of the Annual C.O.P.S. Walk and a gold sponsor of the newly established C.O.P.S. Walk Southwest. Both walks bring together survivors, friends and members of the law enforcement community who are willing to take on the challenge of walking 25 miles in two days to support C.O.P.S. and its mission. | BCRF This year Streamlight will donate over $100,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation®. To help support breast cancer research, Streamlight now has three lights that give back: a Pink Strion® LED, a Pink ProPolymer® 2AA and a Pink Nano Light®. For each pink Streamlight flashlight sold, we donate money to the BCRF — $5 for a Strion® LED, and $1.00 for a ProPolymer® 2AA or a Nano Light®.  Travis Manion Foundation
Streamlight will once again be a sponsor of the Travis Manion Foundation's 9/11 Heroes Run. Last year many employees joined us in showing their support for America's heroes by attending and participating in various races held in the Philadelphia, PA region. We're ready for another strong year and we urge employees and partners to get ready for another run. The 9/11 Heroes Run started in 2007 as a small town event in suburban Philadelphia to honor all those who serve the United States in uniform. That initial 5K race has grown to more than 35 runs, including races in Iraq, Afghanistan, Guam, Italy, England, and on a ship in the Persian Gulf.
