Auto Technicians Rate Their Top 10 Essential Tools

PTEN Cover"Streamlight has a significant presence in the automotive aftermarket as essential tools," said Sarah Shelstrom, Associate Publisher of Professional Tools & Equipment News (PTEN) magazine. She said the magazine late last year reached out to more than 25,000 auto technicians to find out what professional tools they consider essential.

Each month, PTEN features a technician's list and why each tool was included. In February's issue, for example, technician Scott Plaster at Trading Post Motors in Buffalo, Minn. rated the Streamlight Stylus Pro® as his #1 pick, reporting the compact flashlight for looking in small spaces allows him to "see deep down in the little areas that nuts and bolts seem to go when you drop them."

In April's issue, technician John Racic at Highway Garage in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, also selected Streamlight's Stylus Pro® as #2 in his list of Top 10 essential tools.
