A Commitment to the Community
Streamlight® takes very seriously its responsibility of being a good corporate citizen. One important way we give back to the community is by sponsoring organizations that assist first responders, many of whom trust their lives to our products. We are steadfast in our commitment, for example, to Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS), which provides hands-on support for fallen officers' surviving families through its annual National Police Week tribute as well as hands-on programs such as COPS Kids Camp, Surviving Spouses Getaway and Parents Retreat. Streamlight also contributes regularly to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, which celebrates the lives of firefighters who have died in the line of duty, and assists their families and co-workers.
As a leading manufacturer of lighting tools for the outdoor market, Streamlight also is deeply committed to supporting disabled hunters. By partnering with Buckmasters' American Deer Foundation (BADF) Disabled Hunters Services, Streamlight helps people with disabilities continue their interest in hunting through BADF initiatives such as "Life Hunts," which grants hunting wishes to critically ill and severely disabled youth. Through these and other programs, Streamlight meets the specialized needs of disabled hunters so they can enjoy the thrill of the hunt, safely.
